Lost Picture Show Cinema

Enter The Lost Picture Show and you will take a trip back in time to the golden age of movie going. The past is brought back to life in vivid detail in this dream like cinema space draped with intricately sewn fabrics complete with smartly turned-out usherettes who whisper salacious gossip about long dead stars over trays of ice cream, soda and popcorn. The audience recline in luxurious velvet seating while low tables and flickering chandeliers complete the effect of a ghostly apparition of a time and place long forgotten.

The Flying Boating Society

Surely there cannot be a more beautiful setting than this - Overlooking the lake in the beautiful surroundings of the old boathouse, you can grab an ale and take in all that the Flying Boating Society has to offer from instrument making, songwriting, live bands, quiz olympics, djs and much more.....
Fancy taking part in the Where Is My Mind? Quiz Olympics at No Direction Home? We need committed musos with knowledge to spare and fertile imaginations - team names must be in the form of country song titles! 'I Didn't Put You Up So You Could Put Me Down', 'I Couldn't Stand You Leaving So I Had To Leave You Standing', that sort of thing. Send your team names to whereismyquiz@facebook.com: the first 30 entries are guaranteed a place in the first round - actual athletes need not apply....
